Caviar Pearls by Kvicken is a limited edition from the sturgeon Acipenser Gueldenstaedtii. This Osetra is produced with only 3 % Snow salt from Miyako-Jima Island in Japan. 

Henning Kvick is a meat specialist and he wanted to create a unique caviar that matches the best beef from all over the world.Snow salt from Miyako-Jima Island is key ingredients together with the selection of the sturgeons. The caviar master at Anna Dutch and Kvicken made the perfect match.

At Anna Dutch farm the fishes are raised with a natural diet of raw shrimp from the cold North sea, Herring from the Baltic sea and locally Dutch mussels. This is food that can be found in the sturgeons natural habitat in the Caspian sea

At the farm we also stimulate the instinct of the fish by giving them live fed. This is one of the reason why Pearls by Kvicken has a unique and wild taste.

About the snow salt.

Yukishio (means snow salt) is a salt from Miyako Island in Okinawa. Yukishio is certified as “The salt which contains the most variety of minerals in the world” The texture of this salt is very particular. Its name of snow salt comes from its resemblance with icing sugar and its lightness: a teaspoon weigh 5g (a normal salt would weigh 17g).

Snow salt is made on Miyako-jima island in Okinawa (the southernmost Prefecture in Japan). It is an island surrounded by a coral reef in a clear blue sea. Snow salt is made by using an underground seawater infiltrated in rock from coral origin. 

Osetra pearls by kvicken is our most exclusive caviar and originates from the Caspian Sea. Solid eggs with platinum-colored caviar eggs that give a delicate taste of dried hazelnut and a finish of browned mineral-rich butter. Size of eggs around 3.0 mm.
